The COVID19 pandemic in South Africa caused a nation-wide lock down in March 2020. To promote discussion and motivation in this difficult time we created a campaign that drove awareness for local support by sharing what makes our town amazing across a social platform. We posted our curated content across a website, Instagram feed and weekly emails of “Top 5” local attractions that businesses could use for their own promotion.

This garnered a lot of attention from both local and surrounding towns and tourism bodies, increased local networking reach and created business opportunities for both ourselves and locals alike, meeting with bloggers and influencers that we attracted through the platform.
